I’ve rounded up my favorite Amazon teacher supplies I’m restocking this summer to save time and money prepping for Back to School—perfect for Amazon Prime Day!
A little note about me: I am a teacher minimalist. I use what I know works, and I only buy what I know I’ll use! This list includes tried-and-true classroom essentials that my students and I use or appreciate almost every day of the year. Here are my 10 Amazon teacher supplies that I’m restocking this year!

Food Storage for Food Prep . . . because cafeteria pizza don’t cut it every day.
The first item might be a little surprising for classroom essentials, but a well-fed teacher is a better teacher! Last year, I really got serious about meal prepping and making sure I had real food in my belly. So much less “hanger”!! But my old plastic, discolored containers aren’t cutting it anymore . . . and I’m pretty sure I’m eating plastic particles at this point. So a stock of quality glass food containers is in my future this year!!

Good Pens . . . because you deserve nice things.
A GOOD pen can make writing anything feel a little more luxurious. As teachers, we all write a ton. I stick to two types of pens: Gel Pens & PaperMate Flair Pens). I use the gel pens to write in my planner or write little notes, etc. & I use the Flairs to grade papers. I think students pay better attention to feedback when it’s pretty! I stock up during Amazon sales!

Sharpies . . . because they’re simply the best.
As a kid, literally nothing felt as special as getting to write with a Sharpie. To be honest, they still kind of have that sense of wonder about them. I’m not saying my middle school students steal them, but I am saying they borrow them (OFTEN) without returning them, haha. So I always restock at the beginning of each year!

Batteries . . . because coffee doesn’t power everything.
Pretty self-explanatory! It’s pretty frustrating when you run out of batteries. I like to keep a small stock of them, and the Amazon brand is my favorite (and the cheapest while being just as reliable as the bigger brands).

Command Strips . . . because school walls need some pizazz.
This year, I am in a new room, so I’ll start from scratch hanging up my decor! Even on years when I’m in the same room, I like to keep these strips on hand. They are perfect for seasonal decor, posters, and more!

Tape & More Tape . . . because something has to keep everything held together!
I don’t know about you, but the nice tape is the very first thing to be raided in the supply closet. There’s NEVER any good tape if you need it, so I just buy my own. On my first day at my current school, I was introduced to Alien Tape. This stuff is no joke. It keeps anything on the wall. I also love the old faithful blue painter’s tape! Also, Mavalus tape is a bougie tape that’s great for bulletin boards!

Sharpened Pencils . . . because it’s school.
Literally. If. you. know. you. know.
Every year, I promise myself it’s the year I will stop letting students “borrow” 7,325 pencils. Every year, I cave. If you’re a stronger person than me, skip this one. If you’re a bleeding heart, you’re gonna need some extra SHARPENED pencils. *facepalm*

Colored Paper . . . because if Elle Woods used pink paper so can we.
Y’all. Kids work harder on color paper. They just do.
As an ELA teacher, I love letting students write on colored paper whenever possible. I also love using bright color-coded papers for stations and gallery walks. It’s just prettier and more attention-grabbing!

Expo Markers . . . because back to school doesn’t smell like back to school without ’em!
Even though I use a digital board, I love having an assortment of colorful Expos to use to write reminders on my dry-erase boards. This year, I have student boards hanging in my room, so I’m excited to use them for activities!

Disinfectant Wipes . . . because kids can be gross!
The literal only good thing about school during the pandemic is that parents sent Lysol and Clorox wipes by the caseload. Those donations are not as common nowadays, especially in middle school. Germs are still real, people! I love having a ton of these on hand.
